Patriotic Week – Day 1

**You can scroll down to see my Big News Post**

Supplies: Ciliegia Cardstock by Fabriano Colore, red cardstock by Canson, white Cardstock, Silhouette Cameo, Harold’s ABCs stamp set by Lawn Fawn, Red pigment ink by Dovecraft, Black pigment ink by Colorbox, selfmade silhouette cuts, foam squares.

On July 28th all the peruvians celebrate the Independence of our country, we don’t celebrate it with cards like in USA but we put our flags in every house, use a rosette with the flag’s colors, listen to criolla’s music, eat typical peruvian dishes and travel to different cities in the country.

But my grandpa asked me to make him 10 cards to give to his friends for independence day. So I’ll show you the 5 kind of cards I made in a Patriotic week.

For Day 1 one I made with the cameo the Map of Peru but only the border, inside I adhere red/white/red cardstock in that order because in that order is the peruvian flag.
For the sentiment I made a banner shape and cut it with the cameo then I stamped ‘Felices Fiestas Patrias’ the meaning is wishing you a Happy Independence day. The banner was adhere to the card base with foam squares.
